Surpassion Healthcare Services was born from a deeply personal experience that shaped our brand’s mission and purpose. When our founders, Flora and Clannie Smith, faced the challenges of their young son’s autism diagnosis, they were unprepared for the lack of support and resources available. Their struggle to find meaningful guidance left them feeling isolated, but their determination to help their son thrive fueled their journey.
Through tireless effort and unwavering faith, Flora and Clannie immersed themselves in taking an active role in meeting their son’s needs. They discovered ways to support his development and saw firsthand how compassionate care and informed decision-making could make a profound difference. This transformative experience inspired them to create Surpassion Healthcare Services, a home healthcare franchise where others could find the care and support they had searched for themselves.
